He Waka Eke Noa | Creating Great Together

Life at BNZ isnโ€™t just about the work you do, itโ€™s also about the people you connect with and how we collaborate across our organisation to build the future our customers and colleagues imagine.

A 6-week summer internship (November โ€“ December 2023) will enable you to put your academic skills to the test in the real world and to decide whether financial markets is the career for you.

Mล te Tลซranga | About the Role

  • Are you keen to be part of a dynamic team environment that fosters learning and collaboration?
  • Are you soon to complete your studies โ€“ either in your final or penultimate year?
  • Do you want to gain professional experience, build networks and get a great idea about whether a career in financial markets is right for you?

As a financial markets intern, you will get exposure to a wide range of market disciplines across our Wellington and Auckland offices. From money market and foreign exchange trading to client relationship management and research you will get to work with a team of people who will support, coach and inspire you to reach your potential.

A 6-week summer internship with BNZ Markets (November โ€“ December 2023) is a chance to discover more about yourself, about BNZ, and the great careers available within financial markets and may lead to a permanent graduate role.

ลŒu Pลซkenga | About You

We donโ€™t mind what you are studying as long as youโ€™re curious, open-minded and keen to learn!

You will be someone who always brings your A-game, who can think from a range of perspectives, and who asks lots of questions.

Your application is our first step to getting to know you, so we are looking for you to include:

  • Cover Letter โ€“ to help us learn who you are, why you want this opportunity, especially financial markets, and the things that you are proud of.
  • Academic Transcript โ€“ to help us understand your strong academic record.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities โ€“ to let us know about your experience working with others in teams and how youโ€™re connected to your community.
