Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
A lot of the initiatives for D&I seem superficial. There also isn't a lot of intersectionality - everything is quite sanitised and white-centric.

I am in the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and we have an active and serious focus on improving and promoting D&I within the firm and have made great progress, even within the short time I have been here.

We have a dedicated Diversity and Inclusion Committee for each office, and an overarching D&I group that provides action on things such as graduate recruitment, remuneration, child care, parental leave, submissions on reforms, etc

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
We recently ran a student360 programme in which students from South Auckland high schools came for a few weeks experience. This was reported to be a hugely beneficial experience for the students and for everyone within the firm who was involved in that it was very rewarding.

They often partner with programmes such as Student360 to allow students to see what life is like in an office environment and provide experience that may shape their career prospects moving forward
