Your role

Your role helps the clients manage the complex challenges of deploying a globally mobile workforce. You’ll also help your clients improve their business in the evolving global economy and realize sustainable economic growth by helping them integrate the people's agenda into their business strategy. 

Responsibilities:

  • GDS GI professionals support EY Global Immigration teams across various countries and clients to execute a raft of administrative and support tasks. 
  • You will support a raft of administration tasks including electronic case management, document processing and uploads, database management, data entry, mailbox management, and drafting of email communications and visa application forms for review.  
  • You will support collection and tracking of case documentation, reporting, and monitoring of status and preparation of application documentation per the protocol followed for each case type.

Tasks include:

  • Docket immigration-related documents to the case management tool
  • Perform daily tasks including data entry with accuracy
  • Receive and validate documents submitted by assignees
  • Prepare and draft email communications and/or visa application documents
  • Assist in document review for various case types
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, including research, project management, and data collection activities as required
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all client deliverables.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Deliver accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness in tasks
  • Deliver efficient and effective use of technology tools and solutions
  • Identify, and escalate technical or process issues
  • Strictly adhere to EY’s risk management protocols and manage confidential information with professionalism
  • Own accountability for performance and quality metrics; SLA/KPI reports, client reporting, escalations, utilization, and performance metrics
  • Deliver tasks with quality, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of immigration requirements, technicalities, and processes relevant to the team you work with
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, business performance, and process efficiency
  • Work flexibly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Attend continuous training and development on requirements.

About you

Qualifications for the role are :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, travel, tourism and hospitality, Commerce, Arts, Law (Immigration), English Language and Literature/Communicative English/Mass Communication, and journalism or related fields.
  • MBA/Masters in relevant field an advantage.

Essential skills and attributes:

  • Exceptional written and oral communication in English
  • Ability to draft articulate and persuasive communications
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word and Excel)
  • Efficient and accurate typing speed
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with high volume and tight deadlines
  • Ability to contribute to an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment 
  • Foreign language skills are considered an advantage
  • Proven administrative and organizational skills.
