What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Pay is pretty standard and normal, for full time employees the bonuses seem pretty good
Intern, Auckland - 02 May 2022
Full-time employees have a wide range of benefits available to them, such as a yearly $1000 growth fund to spend on their hobbies & passions. Intern's don't get such perks, however the Intern renumeration is still very generous, especially at such a foundational level of expertise.

As a starting salary, I was happy. In addition to this, there is a $1000 growth fund to which each full-time employee is entitled to. This encourages a work/life balance.
Graduate, Morrinsville - 29 Apr 2022
As an intern, there was no paid sick leave which would have been good. Pay and bonuses for other employees seemed better, with paid sick days and unlimited annual leave.

As a part-time employee, the hourly pay is more than what most engineering students get offered in other part-time roles. As a full-time employee, there are a lot of perks and bonuses, including a $1k 'growth fund' every year that is to be used for growth and development through pursuing hobbies and interests. The starting packages for grads are also on the average to higher end of what's offered in industry.

I believe pay is driven by data, based on the current market pay for each role so pretty fair I would say.

Full-time-employees are definitely valued. As a part-time employee I am also happy with the pay.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Free dinner shots for late stays also snacks and drinks provided which is definitely a big plus
Intern, Auckland - 02 May 2022
Yearly growth fund of $1000 awarded to each full-time employee to spend on their passions & hobbies.
Intern, Auckland - 01 May 2022
Unlimited paid leave $1,000 growth fund
Graduate, Morrinsville - 29 Apr 2022
$20 budget for food per person when traveling for work e.g. team beach day, farm visit
Intern, Auckland - 28 Apr 2022
- Free fruit, snacks, and drinks in the office at all times - Dog-friendly office so there's always at least 1-2 dogs lounging in the office - $1k 'growth fund' every year that is to be used for growth and development through pursuing hobbies and interests - Big celebrations for big wins, Christmas, etc. - Company-wide gathering every Friday after 4 pm for 'Epic Fridays' to share epic stories, feedback, and gratitude from the week
Intern, Auckland - 22 Apr 2022
There are so many perks here at Halter. One of the best I would say is the encouragement to work on the Morrisville R&D farm whenever you want to/can!

Group lunches with team members. For full-time employees the 1000$ growth fund that employees can put towards any of their hobbies/passions
Intern, Auckland - 21 Apr 2022
For non-interns there is a $1000 "growth" fund annually granted to each employee which can be spent on anything related to personal development, i.e. hobbies, learning a new skill etc...
