Technology and data are helping businesses become faster, more efficient, and more resilient. But being successful in this digital age requires navigation of major new risks presented by digital change.
This free course gives students the inside scoop into how technology is transforming the role of lawyers at a leading international law firm, from the advice we give to the way we work.
It consists of three 90-minute evening lectures, presented online by expert lawyers who specialise in advising some of the most exciting clients in the world on emerging technologies.
Join us to build your commercial awareness and explore how cutting-edge technologies like the metaverse, NFTs and artificial intelligence impact our firm and our clients. You can apply to attend any one or more sessions, each of which will include an overview of how to apply to Herbert Smith Freehills and an 'ask me anything' (AMA) session where you can ask questions to our experts.
These sessions require no prior knowledge of technology or law and are intended for students and graduates of all levels and backgrounds who have an interest in a career as a digital lawyer
Note: sessions are only available to students and graduates in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. A separate course for those situated in the United Kingdom (UK), United States (US), and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) will run later in 2023/24.
