Equity Research

The Equity Research team at Jefferies is responsible for conducting fundamental research on companies across a broad range of industries, including collecting and analysing data, researching suppliers, vendors customers, etc. Summer Interns engaged in the Equity Research program will work with a Senior Equity Research Analyst and will be involved in due diligence, financial modelling and writing research reports

About you

Successful Jefferies Summer Interns are able to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism and client management skills together with strong technical, written and verbal communication skills. The work is fast-paced, challenging and intellectually stimulating.

The ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, be adaptable and work both independently and as part of a team are essential traits of a successful candidate.

Candidates who apply should have outstanding academic achievement in finance, economics, accounting and/or Law and be in their penultimate year of study.

Training & development

Following a Welcome Day orientation, Summer Interns will begin working on their day-to-day responsibilities, with support from colleagues serving as both instructors and mentors throughout the 12-week engagement.
