We primarily advise our clients in complex tax structuring matters for both business and personal wealth with a focus on issues involving tax, trusts, corporate structures, equitable remedies and employment issues.

Your role

This is a legal research role that involves working closely with our seasoned legal team to tackle intricate tax matters and solve complex legal issues. This hands-on experience will give you the opportunity to develop your legal research and written skills. 

• Carrying out legal research as requested by the Legal Team with deliverables of high-level memos and assisting writing detailed tax papers
• Drafting legal documents and client-facing communications
• Assistance on business development initiatives
• Providing ongoing support to the Legal, Accounting and Governance Teams as required.

 About you

• Currently studying a law degree and ideally have completed at least one Tax subject and Trust law (accounting experience is also welcome but not required)
• Excellent legal research skills, utilising online databases
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn and solve complex legal problems
• Organisational and effective time management skills
