Corporate Social Responsibility at Project Everest Ventures

9.8
9.8 rating for Corporate Social Responsibility, based on 6 reviews
What projects/initiatives does your employer run and what have you worked on personally?
All of our projects we work on look at having a positive social and environmental impact, and we are constantly assessing what we do to make sure this is the case. One of the projects I worked on was the Female Hygiene and Sanitation Project. What I loved about this was the interaction with local women it the community, but also the fact it empowers women socially and financially, and in turn can help to contribute to longer term solutions to global issues such as climate change. I think this flow on effect is pretty incredible.

Project Everest runs a variety of projects like female sanitation and sustainable fuel all of which aim to have positive long term impacts on community. The whole aim and vision of the company is to have impact and empower people in developing nations through not only providing them with products and services they need but by giving them the opportunity and the right to make choices about what they consume. It's not about giving charity. It's about creating long term sustainable change.
