At Shine Lawyers, we challenge the “norms” of traditional law firms and are committed to understanding the needs of our clients, pro-actively working to always stand up for the little guy. We’re a national team of dedicated professionals, whose willingness to think creatively positions us ahead of the pack.

The Role

This is an opportunity for a one-year, full-time, paid Graduate Program, commencing on Monday 20th February 2023, based in our southeast Queensland branches. We are seeking applications from our 2022 seasonal clerks, and eligible internal applicants, who are client-focused, enjoy a high-performance work environment, and have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.

The Graduate Program at Shine Lawyers will give insight into large ASX-listed plaintiff litigation law firms and will ensure you are well-positioned for success, in a permanent role at the end of the program.

Applications are now open and close at midnight Sunday 17th April 2022. Applications should include an updated CV and academic transcript, as well as a well-written cover letter (please attach your academic transcript to the "practicing certificate" field).

Eligibility

  • Participation in Shine’s Clerkship program, or a current employee of Shine, ideally with fee earner or author experience.
  • Law graduate during the 2022 calendar year.
  • Strong academic results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in Shine’s areas of practice.
  • Diversity of experience and evidence of extra-curricular activities such as volunteering, community work, and being an active member of associations will be favorably considered, as will paid and non-paid work experience in the legal field.
