In my opinion, you can never blame companies for paying you very less, entry-level jobs in our country pay less, but I believe if you can have a good CV and you are good at soft and hardcore skills, you can bag good packages as a fresher.

When I personally did internships it gave me a clear picture of what to expect, how things work practically and which field was I most interested in. Additionally, It also gives you an edge when applying for jobs.

For the first-year and second-year students' if an internship isn't that rewarding it's understandable but the aim should be to make it rewarding for yourself in terms of experience and learning.

Internships are very important as you get practical training. Studies would provide us with theoretical knowledge but applying it practically is completely different and equally important. A company would hire you based on your degree and the practical experience you gain during internships and part-time jobs.

I was able to get the extra edge over others in the candidate filtration process due to my prior experiences of internships at startups and other companies.

Do as many internships as you can as we have sufficient time during our college life. Gaining exposure, interacting with different people and developing various skills would be really helpful in your full-time job.
