Aki Liyanage studied Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) (Hons) at the University of Auckland and is now a structural engineer in the Structural team of Beca.
As it is nearing the end of the month, I am sitting with my manager to go over the monthly expenses for all Waka Kotahi disposal jobs in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions and establish budgets for the following month. This is an exciting job to do as it allows me to get an overview of all the current projects and understand the financial side of the work that I do.
Dallas Eparaima Watene studied Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Computer Systems at the University of Auckland and is now working as a software engineer- Digital Services at Beca in Auckland.
Right now, I'm on a rotation with the Civil team, where I work with a diverse range of engineers. As for me, I'm currently doing risk analysis, project planning, and culvert inspections.
Embarking on a journey that starts with a 30-minute commute, my work at WSP unfolds with a blend of intricate design tasks, collaborative team meetings, and on-site visits!
