Pros & Cons
For engineers, working time is quite flexible, I am happy that I can start work at 7am and leave at 3pm so able to play golf after work.
Rotating through different teams in Finance department offers invaluable exposure to various financial management aspects from CapEX to mastering group finance operations.
The people and their positive attitude are the best parts of working for Hy-Tec/Adbri.
I’ve worked with people from various departments ever since. Everyone I’ve worked with has been kind and always willing to help you, no matter how busy they are.
I can go talk to any management from any department about anything, and they will sincerely listen and assist you.
When I start at the company and your manager resigns shortly after your arrival.
Fortunately, I've not experienced anything worse, but I feel that dealing with IT is the one downside of working for this organization.
Not much going on socially.
Sometimes the amount of pressure/stress people are under to meet KPI’s/avoid other incidents.
A lot of work, and people are spread very thin and therefore things sometimes struggle to get done.

I am graduate engineer, so haven’t experienced any promotion, however I saw one of my colleagues become a general manager of NT, so quite flexible in change role and become promoted.
Everyone is hardworking and enjoys engaging in light-hearted banter at work in a healthy manner. I can confidently state that this organization has an excellent work culture.
In this company, every individual is accorded the same level of respect, irrespective of their age, gender, or position, which is an aspect of the workplace I greatly appreciate.
The hiring staff were all very approachable and clearly had good things to say about the company. Communication was so efficient, I was really impressed!
I think the pay could greatly be improved, and it has made me consider leaving as I know I could be paid more for less work in a lot of other companies.
