Reasonably high compared to similar positions within south australia. Pay fixed for first 18 months (subject to market-adjustments) then performance-based bonuses are available.

I am satisfied with the starting graduate salary, which appears to be around the market rate for top firms in my city.

Pay is good generally, however not as much as competitors.

Minterellison has competitive salaries and it attracted me to work for them. Once you settle in a team, you are eligible for bonuses which can be up to 20% of your salary.

We are informed that as graduates we get paid the median of the top firms. when this has been asked about, we get a spiel about surveys and some lag time and a range of other explanations that don't quite add up. I am not that fussed about the relatively small difference in pay when compared to other firms but i would value greater transparency

Bonuses seem to be difficult to achieve at our firm unless you are a senior associate however the starting salary for a graduate is very competitive with the top firms in australia.

Salary is falling behind other top tier law firms, however, i do feel the work-life balances are sufficient compensation. The accessibility to bonuses as junior lawyers would incentivise going above and beyond.

As a grad i am happy with my pay, i do feel that it is fair and in touch with expected market rates.

Pay is quite good for a graduate. Each year you receive a pay top up to account for market demands.

For a top tier firm, the pay is on the lower end of the scale, especially considering that the salary package is inclusive of superannuation.
