Working Hours at Protiviti

8.5
8.5 rating for Working Hours, based on 30 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Protiviti is hybrid and you can choose the days you want to work from home or the office, and there is implicit flexibility in your hours however I think this could be promoted more so people would feel more comfortable speaking up about hours. As with any organisation, there are ebs and flows of workload so sometimes you will have to work late, and others you can take it easy.

As someone who lives further away than most people in the office I try to come in as much as I can and will usually spend a good amount of time in the office on those days. My usual work hours don't exceed the scheduled amount of time I am on projects, however, when deadlines are tight sometimes it requires more work, however, management is supportive and will engage the whole team to ensure not a lot of overtime is worked.

Super flexible, they completely understand work life balance

All Brisbane employees prefer working from home over coming into the office. The quality of work and the flexibility of working from home should be Provitiviti's number 1 priority if they truly care about employee satisfaction. The office should be a meeting point for employees to engage with one another, not a place that is mandatory to visit to get work done.

I spend approx three days in the office. Our office is very flexible with what days/when you go in.

Protiviti is completely flexible in terms of where you work. Teams have "anchor days" where the team or solution's managing directors are generally in the office which are encouraged in-office days. But you have near complete flexibility, unless a client project requires you to be on-site.

Quite flexible

Historically, Protiviti has been very flexible. However, there is an increased expectation to attend the office. Whilst office work is generally fine, mandated office days and the lack of working technology in the office is making this challenging.

I have a good balance of WFH v. in the ofice. However, this is related to favouritism and if you are a 'favourite' you are entitled to more flexibility so this benefit is more accessible to you dependent on your situation.

Very flexible when it comes to working in office. Can be a fair bit of overtime but no issues with flexible working.

Although there are standard hours, this can change depending on client timezones and project requirements. A healthy work/life balance is emphasised at Protiviti and engagement managers always focus on ensuring that everyone only works for their scheduled hours and has ample balance.

very flexible, able to leave whenever without reasons, but trusts everyone to make up for lost time.

Hours can be long, depending on the job. However, the work is fairly flexible,

I am not often expected to work overtime. There is flexibility with hours depending on the engagement manager you are working with.

Flexibility is very high. There is a high level of variation between staff on hours worked. There is also a culture of 'good work gets more work' driving this disparity. That said, the culture is that the responsibility falls on the individual to manage up and decide how many hours they put in.

I go in 1-2 days a week. This works well for me.

Very flexible. It is a hybrid work environment so half WFH and half in the office. However this depends on client site requirements and what your team prefers. It is very much a trusting environment and do what is best for the team, yourself and the client - just ensure this is communicated.

So far, all my leave has been approved and no overtime has been forced upon me.
