You don’t know anything (yet), there’s still so much to learn after university – that’s just about getting a framework. There’s so much expertise in industry that isn’t in your textbooks!
My role is to develop software for Saab’s naval combat management system which is the command and control center of many advanced surface vessels and submarines.
Work hard, both inside and outside of university. This will set you up well when it comes time for applying for jobs and being able to easily answer interview questions.
It is very satisfying to be able to come up with a creative solution to the technical challenges we have at work and to see the results we create being implemented in real deployable software.
