Training & Personal Development at NZX

There's some workshops that are pretty helpful.

The training provided by NZX was the perfect amount to provide me with the relevant information and skills to excel in my role.

On the job training has been a big learning curve but very interesting as there is always more to learn. With the grad programme, we have access to mentors to help guide our development plan and support with extra training courses.

One of the best things about working at NZX is that you are doing real work from the first week. The new starter training I completed involved lots of learning whilst working with more experienced team members. There are also workshops completed as part of the Graduate Programme that teaches you about general work etiquette and styles. You are not expected to know everything from Day One!

The organisation is very supportive of training opportunities from what I can see whether they be external or internal. I have had someone dedicated to training me in my role which has been very beneficial and comforting to know they are expecting questions and regularly checking in.
